CW student Jennifer hopes to be a successful professional inspiring other Latinos to pursue their dreams. That is the purpose of #FirstGenerationWeek, to celebrate and inspire students to pursue their dreams and obtain a college degree to improve the quality of their families. Here’s Jennifer’s story:

First Generation College Student Week at CW-Mohammed Konneh
It’s First Generation Week and we are glad to present the first round of students who shared their stories with us. A first-generation college graduate refers to a person who has completed at least a bachelor's degree but does not have a parent who has completed at least a bachelor's degree. The purpose of #FirstGenerationWeek is to celebrate those students and their families for this big milestone of having a first college graduate in the family.
