Campus Climate Survey
The College of Westchester Campus Climate Survey: 2025 Summary
In accordance with New York State and Federal law, The College of Westchester conducts a Campus Climate Survey every two years. The 2025 survey results indicate that CW continues to foster an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for both students and employees. A strong majority of respondents across all groups reported feeling respected and supported, regardless of identity or background. Only a small percentage indicated experiencing or witnessing inappropriate exclusionary, hostile or sexually inappropriate behavior.
Encouragingly, the number and percentage of individuals reporting negative incidents has declined since the last survey, returning to levels more consistent with the strong results seen in most prior survey cycles. While the survey is based on individual perceptions and self-reported experiences, CW values every voice and views these insights as critical to fostering a campus culture where everyone feels safe, included, and respected. We strive for a campus climate where zero incidents occur and every member of our community feels seen, heard, and valued. Our commitment to continuous improvement includes open dialogue, transparency, and clearly communicated expectations for respectful behavior. To report an incident of sexual harassment or misconduct, contact the Title IX Coordinator, Janna Gullery, at TitleIX@cw.edu or 914-831-0401 or the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Anna Bravo, at abravo@cw.edu or 914-831-0353.
