First, you need to get clear on the types of jobs you’re looking for. Knowing what you want is an important step it’s easy to overlook when first beginning a job search.  Talking with a career counselor at your school can be incredibly helpful when figuring out how to refine your search and present yourself.

Job-Hunting? Don’t Make These Social Media Mistakes

By now it’s no surprise that potential employers scope out your social media. You’re probably well aware of some of the most important ones to remove or hide (drunk pictures, for example), but there are a few important ones you may not have thought about. So yes, take down or remove tags on any pictures or posts where you’re under the influence, but also edit your profiles for grammatical errors, cursing, excessive selfies, and more.

Spring into Wellness

This health awareness event is a fun and interactive way to inform students, faculty, and staff on various health and wellness opportunities within the community. CW Graduates Awarded Prestigious Accounting Scholarships

Jayatri Dutta, Pauline Grandison, Wanda Hernandez, and Elida Loci have been awarded scholarships by The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) through the recommendation and efforts of Professor John Strange, Associate Chair of Accounting and member of IMA. These scholarships provide the recipients with a 3-year membership in IMA, a grant to cover the cost of the Certified Management Accountant Exam (CMA), and up to six months of free exam preparation support.
