CW Hosts Computer Networking Career Café

Computer Networking students who are graduating or recently graduated had an opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions with employers. These companies included Microsoft, CMIT Solutions of Southern Westchester, Con Edison, and Robert Half Technology. The purpose of the event is to prepare students for interviews that they will be having in their field of choice. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions to employers that they don’t normally get to ask during a job interview.

Westchester Smart Mobile App Development Bowl

Student teams throughout the Westchester and New York metropolitan area compete to create mobile apps to help with the management and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Cash prizes as well as up to five paid summer internships with Westchester County Government will be awarded to top teams and students. All of the entries will become part of a library of free apps.
