Miosotis Hernandez – BBA (left in photo)
Miosotis Hernandez was born in Rockland County, N.Y. She attended North Rockland High School. To further her education after graduation, she attended The College of Westchester (formerly WBI) and graduated with an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies in 1990. She worked for Columbia University Medical Center for nine years in the Department of Dermatology. After losing her job in November 2015, Miosotis decided to go back to school. In search of which school to attend, she was very interested to learn that CW now offers Bachelor degree programs. Since Miosotis had been working in the medical field for such a long time and took a great interest in it, she decided to enroll in the BBA for Healthcare Administration and started in February 2016. Thanks to her high academic achievements, Miosotis is now a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Honors Society and has earned her place on the President's List. She is due to graduate in November 2017 and plans to pursue a management position in the healthcare field in a hospital setting. She still resides in Rockland County where she owns a home and lives with her four children.
