CW Students Joseph Gonzalez, Garwayne McGregor, and David Rivas recently participated at Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism in South Carolina to learn about what capitalism and morality are, and how to effectively fight for them. The students had the opportunity to join other students from across the U.S. and other countries.
“Being at Clemson University was an eye opener for a New Yorker. At my time at Clemson, I have encountered people with lifestyles different than my own, many of who lived simple lives. But these people have the same interest and passion as I do about economics and politics. Despite our differences in culture, beliefs, and political views, we were still able to have civil and educated discussions about the economy. At the end of the day, being in a small environment who supported one another and was willing to learn from one another made my experience at Clemson wonderful,” says Joseph Gonzalez
