914INC. magazine recently celebrated Westchester’s best and brightest young superstars. Forging careers in industries that range from government to agriculture, these 24 rising stars under the age of 35 are changing the business and cultural landscapes of Westchester County. CW Warrior graduate, Kahleel Neil, made the “Wunderkinds 2023” list! “I feel elated and humbled to have been recognized for my work. As they say, the race is not for the swift, but for those who can endure,” quotes Kahleel who is also a CWCF scholarship recipient.
It was actually at CW when he discovered his passion for everything relating to Online Marketing. “I began focusing on this field when I took a marketing course during my last semester at The College of Westchester. My professor had a lot of passion for helping businesses succeed utilizing online marketing tools, and that captivated me and sparked my interest!” said Kahleel. After graduating CW with a BS in Interactive Digital Media & Marketing, he accepted the position of Director of Digital Marketing at WOW! Building Maintenance Solutions in White Plains.
One of the things Kahleel loves about his job is that he can use all the skills he learned at CW in social media marketing, SEO, and graphic design. He is doing an incredible job at WOW! Building Maintenance Solutions, bringing company revenue up to $1 million a year through his campaigns and strategies. He also created and implemented a successful customer retention program that currently stands at an incredible rate of 99%. “What I like most about my job is that I can utilize my creativity and analytical skills. In the marketing field, data is king. Without data, it is difficult to create a strategy that leads to success. Thankful he pursued a major in Digital Media & Marketing at CW, Kahleel says, “I love analyzing data and testing new strategies in the hopes of achieving optimal results.” “Knowing that I was able to graduate from college and able to use my degree is a great feeling because I know many people who are not able to work in their field. I hope I can be an inspiration to other young upcoming professionals to keep focus and work in silence - and let their success be their noise,” he concluded.
