Dania Alwadi, a graduate of CW’s Medical Assistant Management (2023) and Healthcare Services Administration (2024) programs, continues to make us proud. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist at Northwell Health, Dania recently received the 2026 TULIP Award for Northwell Health’s Western Region. The TULIP Award, which stands for “The Touching Unique Lives in Practice,” recognizes medical assistants who go above and beyond in providing outstanding, compassionate, patient-centered care while working collaboratively to enhance the patient experience.
While at CW, Dania distinguished herself as a peer tutor, student leader, and advocate. She served as Student Government Association President, was selected
as the 2024 Commencement student speaker, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors and membership in the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.
Before becoming a standout student leader at The College of Westchester, Dania Alwadi attended Peekskill High School, where she participated in the school’s rigorous Science Research Program.
We congratulate Dania on this well-deserved recognition and thank her for continuing to exemplify the leadership, compassion, and excellence that define all CW Warriors who are a part of The College of Westchester community.
