“I want my students to know that I’m in their corner. Teaching is not just about getting through the course material. It’s about helping students build confidence, see what they’re capable of, and understand how what they’re learning connects to life outside the classroom.

One of my favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou, “When you learn, teach. When you get, give”. That really reflects how I feel about teaching. I’ve learned so much through my own education and career and being able to bring those experiences into the classroom and help my students grow is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.”
