Mount Vernon High School’s Hospitality Management Career and Technical Education (CTE) program has been approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a graduation pathway for five years, beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. Additionally, the program includes an articulation agreement that allows students to earn nine college credits from The College of Westchester upon completion.
CW Partnership With Mount Vernon and Our Organization
CW is proud to highlight our ongoing partnership with Mount Vernon High School across multiple Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Together, we have collaborated in cosmetology and barbering, cybersecurity, and now hospitality management, strengthening students’ opportunities for real-world learning and post-graduation success. As part of this collaboration, students benefit from articulation agreements and access to college credit through The College of Westchester, bridging secondary and higher education pathways.
We are actively working to establish a similar partnership in business, which would further enhance the connection between our institutions and create a seamless pipeline for students interested in careers and advanced study in business fields.
