The College of Westchester Charitable Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

White Plains, NY – The College of Westchester Charitable Foundation (CWCF) is excited to announce the appointment of four distinguished individuals to its Board of Trustees. The new members bring a wealth of expertise, leadership experience, and a shared commitment to enhancing the lives of students by helping to catalyze economic mobility by securing resources and developing partnerships that support the education and success of all CW students and their families.

The new members of the CWCF Board include:

Kristen M. Alouisa – With an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, Kristen brings over 8 years of experience in strategic organizational growth and fundraising. Currently serving as the Development Director for the American Heart Association, Kristen has proven expertise in cultivating high-level donor relationships, executing successful fundraising campaigns, and fostering volunteer engagement. Her hands-on leadership and passion for mission-driven work will be instrumental in expanding the Foundation’s reach and impact.


Frank Callanan – A seasoned senior operations executive, Frank has a distinguished career in both public service and private-sector leadership. His strategic thinking, expertise in organizational growth, and focus on operational efficiency will play a key role in guiding the Foundation toward new opportunities for growth and sustainability. Frank’s diverse experience in managing large teams and optimizing business operations will contribute to the Foundation’s continued success in supporting The College of Westchester’s students.


Sandra Guzman – As a long-time staff member of The College of Westchester, Sandra has demonstrated exceptional dedication in her roles within Admissions and Operations. Sandra’s experience in managing complex operations, combined with her active participation in committees such as the Functional Leaders group and the Scholarship Committee, gives her a unique perspective on the needs of CW students. She will bring invaluable insight into how the Foundation can continue to provide the financial support and resources that students require to succeed.


Maximino Torres, Jr. – Max, an adjunct professor at The College of Westchester, brings a wealth of experience in both business and education. Max has taught courses in business, accounting, and finance, and his extensive background includes work in both the public and private sectors. He is well-versed in nurturing student growth, fostering enthusiasm for learning, and mentoring students through their educational journeys.
