Learn more about their academic journey here:
Born and raised in Kingston St. Andrew, Jamaica, Angelique completed high school in her home country before continuing her education in New York and finishing her senior year in Connecticut. Throughout her journey, Angelique has taken on leadership roles in student government and gained valuable firsthand experience working with children.
Choosing to attend The College of Westchester (CW) due to its proximity to family and the warm, close-knit community she encountered during her campus visit, Angelique is now pursuing a major in Human Services. Her academic achievements include earning President’s and Dean’s List recognition and receiving the CWCF Shining Star Scholarship Award.
Scheduled to graduate in 2027 with a bachelor’s degree, Angelique aims to build a career in settings that advocate children worldwide, while also allowing her to explore various parts of the globe. A future goal of hers is to establish a business dedicated to assisting foster children and underprivileged youth in accessing the necessary family support, education, and career pathways.
As the eldest and only daughter in her family, with a younger brother, Angelique enjoys her leisure time by reading, watching anime and TV series, hanging out with friends, and indulging in singing and dancing – activities she tends to keep private. Currently residing in Mount Vernon, New York, Angelique dreams of embarking on global travel adventures in the future.
Roberts was born in Houston, Texas, and attended Alfred E. Smith Career and Technical High School in the South Bronx. He chose to attend CW to pursue a second career and follow his passion for computers, believing the college would provide strong connections and opportunities.
An Information Technology major, Roberts has earned badges in Understanding Ethics in the Workplace and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and now named Student of the Semester. He is expected to graduate in June 2026 with an associate degree in Information Technology and plans to become an IT support specialist with the goal of working remotely.
