Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Mental health refers to the level of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of an individual. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Although it's Mental Health Month, we should be talking about mental health all year round, not just in May. There are many ways to take action, such as supporting this annual campaign, volunteering for a local organization, and learning how to support others in their time of need.

If you want more information, you can always contact the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). It’s the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. CW has been partnering with this wonderful organization for a number of years and we highly recommend that you or a loved one reach out if needed.
