Making a Difference in Our Community

CW’s Club Sister United ran a successful backpack drive to support non-profit organization, “My Sisters’ Place.”

This annual back to school drive collects filled backpacks for the families served by MSP that need help preparing for the upcoming school year. A new backpack helps children start the year off right with the necessary confidence, empowerment, and supplies to support their academic success.

Sisters United did a terrific job and My Sisters’ Place was happy to receive the backpacks. “I am happy to report that the 8 backpacks that Sisters United purchased were all filled and we were able to donate a box and a half more of items including scientific calculators, notebooks, glue sticks, erasers, highlighters, crayons, composition, and one subject notebooks,” said Erica Schacht, Moderator of Sisters United. Thank you to the CW community for their donations and congratulations to Sisters United for their hard work!
