Prof. Nugent was recently selected by her peers for the Faculty of the Year award. Professor Nugent is noted for her nurturing qualities that inspire students to excel. She has a dynamic presence in the classroom and knows how to make learning a fun and inclusive experience. She's compassionate and works tirelessly to meet each student's needs and ensure they have the support to succeed. Her commitment to CW's values and her role as a team player make her an indispensable part of CW. Dr. Amanda Nugent is Assistant Professor in General Education and is the First Year Experience Coordinator. Dr. Nugent received her Ph.D. in Education from Capella University and holds an MA in Special Education from Purdue University Global.
