Are You Brainstorming All Wrong?

When we encounter a problem, most of us are used to brainstorming solutions. Might this be killing our productivity and actually slowing down our attempts to address the issue? Ditto when we’re working on a project with a group and set a meeting to bounce ideas off of each other.

In this article for Fast Company, Stephanie Vozza discusses the findings of a recent study discussed in the Harvard Business Review, which showed that traditional brainstorming may actually stifle creativity, and explored the suggested alternative approach of brainstorming questions instead.
