The importance of preparing for a job interview cannot be overstated. There is a good chance that there are dozens and perhaps even hundreds of people applying for the same position, so it is very important to make the best impression possible when going to an interview.
That’s why Career Services put together the “Allied Health Career Café” so our future healthcare professionals can prepare for a successful job interview, which will hopefully end in a job offer. As part of the activities Roselle Glick, Assistant Director of Career Services, shared with students the 3Ps for having a successful Interview: Prepare, Practice, and Present with passion.
The event included a workshop for future healthcare professionals and roundtable discussions with employers. The companies who attended the “Allied Health Career Café” were: Scarsdale Medical, Progressive Food Care, WESTMED Medical group, Balm of Gilead Medical Office, Westchester Medical Coder Inc., and Premier HealthCare.
