Don’t Make This Networking Mistake

Networking is key to furthering your career and making meaningful connections. In-person networking is only one of the many ways we interact with people. Digital networking resources have become increasingly popular and appeal to people who may struggle to find time in their schedule to make it to live events or for whom those one-on-one interactions or large groups can be intimidating.

Email is also a useful tool for networking. It can be a convenient way to connect people and to stay in touch with contacts.  As with any type of networking, it’s important to take into account some basic etiquette. This Forbes article by Emilie Aries (www.EmilieAries.com) shares one major (but perhaps not so obvious) e-mail networking no-no to avoid.
