Sister United helping the Community

Thu, 03/16/2017

As promised on Valentine’s Day, Sisters United Club raised $200.00, which was donated to the Westchester SPCA. http://www.spca914.org/. Here’s Prof. Schacht dropping the check at SPCA. The money went to help the shelter animals and to Nacho’s fund, which is going towards a French bulldog whose family gave him up because they couldn't afford medical care after he got hit by a car.

“Recently, Sisters United created a raffle for a basket full of dog goodies and toys. The proceeds went to the Westchester SPCA a nonprofit no kill shelter. Valentine's Day isn't just about humans celebrating love for one another but rather love for all beings and creation. Animals in shelters are often forgotten about and it was Sisters United’s idea to give back to the community. It is our hope that lots of dogs and cats will receive food, medicine, and even toys with our donation. We thank everyone for their donations. And remember, adopt don’t Shop!” Said Prof. Schacht.

Thanks to Sisters United Club and Prof. Schacht for such a great project and for supporting the community.
