What’s The Difference Between a CV and a Resume?

When you’re looking for a job or applying to a program where your work and school experience is important, you’re often asked to provide a resume or CV. Same thing, right? Nope! Though they’re similar, a CV (short for “curricula vitae, which means “courses of life” in Latin) provides a much more expansive view of your career, as opposed to the job-specific resume, which is generally limited to one page in length.
