CW’s Club Sister United ran a successful backpack drive to support non-profit organization, “My Sisters’ Place.”
This annual back to school drive collects filled backpacks for the families served by MSP that need help preparing for the upcoming school year. A new backpack helps children start the year off right with the necessary confidence, empowerment, and supplies to support their academic success.
Sisters United did a terrific job and My Sisters’ Place was happy to receive the backpacks. “I am happy to report that the 8 backpacks that Sisters United purchased were all filled and we were able to donate a box and a half more of items including scientific calculators, notebooks, glue sticks, erasers, highlighters, crayons, composition, and one subject notebooks,” said Erica Schacht, Moderator of Sisters United.
