The Winter Semester Student Recognition/Club Day 2016 took place in the Student Center to honor the best students of last Fall. With Esperanza Cruz, Students Affairs Administrative Coordinator, serving as M.C., students were honored for their achievements last term. President & CEO Mary Beth Del Balzo named BBA student Violet Dokaj and AAS student Malcom Bennett, as Students of the Semester for the Fall term. Also, student leaders described the mission and benefits of membership in their clubs and invited all students to participate. The purpose of the Student Recognition/Club Day is to honor students’ academic achievements as well as recognizing the many student leaders who demonstrate a passion for serving the CW community through their commitment to the college’s departments, programs, clubs, and community engagement events.
