Preparing Future Healthcare Professionals

The importance of preparing for a job interview cannot be overstated.  There is a good chance that there are dozens and perhaps even hundreds of people applying for the same position, so it is very important to make the best impression possible when going to an interview. 

That’s why Career Services put together the “Medical Career Café” so students can prepare for a successful job interview, which will hopefully end in a job offer. The event included a workshop for future healthcare professionals and roundtable discussions with employers. The companies who attended the “Medical Career Café” were: Yonkers Community Health Center, Montefiore Medical Center, WestMed Medical Group, Privatus, and White Plains Pediatric Group.
