The CW Warriors played a perfect game and completely overwhelmed Westchester Picks by a final score of 72-36.
This one was over early, as the Warriors combined efficient ball movement, hot shooting, and suffocating defense to build a 25-7 lead about midway through the first half, and continued to pull away, leading 40-13 at the break. This was truly a total team effort, and all 11 players scored in the first half. Westchester Picks were never able to get closer than 24 points in the second half, and the game was called off by the officials with 2:00 left on the clock under the league's mercy rule, which dictates that the game is over if one team is leading by 20 or more with two minutes left.
All games are held at White Plains Middle School located at Highland Campus, 128 Grandview Avenue (second floor.)
