A wide range of job opportunities were available at the Part-Time Job Fair organized by Career Services. Companies and organizations attended the event looking for the best and brightest candidates of CW. “We have 40 positions available in Sales and Stock… We need passionate students feeling comfortable with customers as we are extreme customer focus,” said a rep from UGG Australia.
Booths provided the students with company information and basic qualifications and requirements of positions. Companies attending the job fair included Best Buy, Cosi, Hertz, Gap, P&K Research, Urgent Care of Westchester, among others.
The companies and organizations also commented on how good it is for students to attend these job fairs, as they get face to face experience with quick interviews and connections. Some recruiters are ready to move to the next phase, “we have follow up- interviewing students today and tomorrow at our location,” said a rep from Batteries Plus Bulbs.
